Over the weekend we got to throw our Amber and Honey Launch Party and it was so much fun. We wanted a way to say thank you for those who have shown support, clients we have worked with, and people we look forward to working with in the future. Mostly, after all of that hard work we wanted to celebrate and have a night off from the craziness.
Our party was in Burbank and it was a nice small intimate affair. We served special Amber and Honey cocktails which were much more popular than I would have imagined they would be. They even came complete with small honey comb sticks in each glass. They were fun and I may have found my new summer drink. If you’re interested comment below and I will share the recipe.
We wanted to make the place nice and simple and just overall seem bright and cheery. We had a spot for people to take photos, and we even include some lounge seating that made for a relaxed place to chat. I have no doubt one of the favored elements from the night were the cookies that were shaped like our own logos and a variety of cacti and succulents. They were super fun and of course were delicious.
So that people had some little activities to do and something special to take home, we made a DIY planting station. They were able to choose their pots, arrange the succulents the way they wanted and it was all just fun.
We were able to give some great prizes away and that was my favorite part. We gifted a ‘Container Store’ gift card in honor of the new organizational services offered by Katie. We offered an art finding package to support Amy’s wonderful work, and our very own Michelle Ramirez gave away a photo shoot to one lucky winner. In addition to that, some amazing local entrepreneurs donated gifts that were quite favored amongst the crowd. The wonderful Winston and Main donated this beautiful arrangement that you see being given away here. It was gorgeous and I really didn’t want to see it go. The amazing Brandy from Trendy Little Sweethearts donated a gift card to do a little shopping through their clothing line. It’s a wonderful concept and their stuff is oober cute I highly recommend checking it out.
The event wouldn’t have worked out as well as it did if it weren’t for the services of I Do the Day. This is run by the incredible Jamie Biddle and she is spectacular. She took care of everything once the event began and she made decisions that we are SO thankful she had. I am the first to admit that I can make your home look pretty without any hesitation, but when it comes to making a party look great and function smoothly, I am clueless. She helped in more ways than one. I am telling you, if you have an event or wedding coming up, this lady is INCREDIBLE!
Thanks again to everyone who came. It was a fun night and I adore everyone who attended. I can’t wait to have many celebrations with you all in the future!
