I recently came across Sarah K Benning, an embroidery artist, and I truly loved her creations. She has an online Etsy store that showcases her stationary and art on paper. However it is her embroidery that is beyond amazing. Quickly I became obsessed.
She uses embroidery hoops to create completely unique and adorable works of art. Part of what makes all of these so successful, are her choice of colors for each and every one. The small price tag is also nothing to shy away from. She breaks it all down into 5 categories. I recommend you checking out her ETSY shop to see all that she has to offer.
Cacti and House
She uses a vibrant green thread to create her plants, and they pop off of the white backgrounds. In my opinion these are appealing to anyone who has a passion for plants, especially succulents. In fact, if you love plants but have discovered you can’t keep them alive, these could be a pretty nice substitution.
Minerals and Moons
These are no doubt even prettier than you may have imagined them to be. She uses a wide variety of colors to get you to fall in love with these gorgeous minerals. I can’t imagine a space in any part of someones house that wouldn’t be made better my having these around.
These are abstract, they’re creative, and they are highly appealing. These are what you could have up on your wall, and all of your friends will certainly harass you because they too want them on their own walls.
These are cute hoops that have precious little sayings about how wonderful your house is. I like the idea of someone who is moving into a new home putting one of these little charmers up on the wall. I’m thinking they’d look pretty great up in the kitchen.
Hoops for Kids
These are hoops that your kids will love. They are so whimsical and work for any little boy or girl. They would be fun in a nursery or playroom. These are one of those things that call out to kids and adults alike.
